The Mets don't appear to have a shot at landing free-agent pitcher Jarrod Washburn, according to FOX Sports.

"Source doubts that #Mets have a real chance at Washburn. Still looking like #Twins or #Mariners for the lefty. #MLB," Jon Morosi of FOX wrote on his Twitter page.
