The Mets and Dodgers are both showing interest in free-agent pitcher Joel Pineiro.

According to ESPN.com's Jayson Stark, New York and Los Angeles are the two teams most interested in the right-hander's services.

Pineiro went 15-12 with a 3.49 ERA in 32 starts for the Cardinals in 2009.
