A Rangers team source has denied reports that the team has offered free-agent slugger Vladimir Guerrero a $7 million contract.

"No comment," general manager Jon Daniels said in an e-mail to the Dallas Morning News.

The team source said that the Rangers haven't had contact with Guerrero in several weeks.

The Rangers had between $3 and $5 million to offer Guerrero before and that has not changed, the source said.
