The Mets let pitcher Tim Redding go on Saturday night when they decided not to offer him a contract for 2010.

Redding, who went 3-6 as he struggled with injuries, was joined by outfielders Jeremy Reed and Cory Sullivan, and pitcher Lance Broadway.

He made $2.25 million on the underperforming Mets in 2009.
