The Orioles are nearing a deal for Rangers starting pitcher Kevin Millwood, multiple front-office sources have confirmed to MLB.com.

In the deal, Baltimore would send reliever Chris Ray to Texas.

Both clubs will have to review and approve medical records to make such a deal official, which could take several days.

"It's our understanding that it's not done yet," said agent Scott Boras, who represents Millwood.
