Free-agent left fielder Jason Bay is still the top target of the Red Sox this offseason, a team source told ESPN.com.

The source added that the price for Matt Holliday may reach a level in which the Red Sox are hesitant to go.

Bay hit .267 with 36 home runs and 119 RBIs in 2009.
