Outfielder DeWayne Wise, who preserved Mark Buehrle's perfect game in July with a leaping catch at the wall in the ninth inning at U.S. Cellular Field, signed a minor league deal with Philadelphia on Wednesday. Wise hit .225 with two home runs and 11 RBIs in 142 at-bats last season for the Chicago White Sox. He is a .216 career hitter in seven seasons in the Majors.
