Ken Griffey Jr. could earn as much as $3.9 million next season.

The contract has a base salary of $2.35 million, according to figures obtained by the Associated Press.

Griffey will earn $3.9 million if he reaches 400 plate appearances, Seattle's attendance tops 2.5 million and he doesn't go on the disabled list.
