Free-agent first baseman Carlos Delgado told the New York Daily News that teams are showing interest in his services.

"There are some teams interested in me," Delgado said. "The Mets have been in touch. Everybody wants to see me play. If I was a team, I'd rather see me play, too."

Delgado plans to play winter ball in Puerto Rico to help showcase his health.
