Utilityman Eric Bruntlett has become a free agent after refusing a minor league assignment from the Phillies.

Bruntlett scored the winning run in the 2008 World Series.

He hit just .171 in 105 at-bats in 2009, but turned an unassisted, game-ending triple-play.
