Mets Pick Up Pelfrey's 2010 Option

New York Post - The Mets have picked up the $500,000 option on the contract of pitcher Mike Pelfrey for the 2010 season.

His contract expired after this season, but the team was able to bring him back because he isn't arbitration-eligible until 2011. [READ]
