Phillies Say Victorino Is Day-To-Day
4th November, 2009 - 8:56 am
MLB.com - Phillies manager Charlie Manuel called Shane Victorino "day-to-day" with finger soreness.

Victorino was hit on the hand with a fastball from A.J. Burnett in Game 5 on a bunt attempt. He remained in the game, but was replaced late when Philadelphia had a commanding lead.

"He'll probably get in the ballpark early tomorrow, and when he first comes in, I'll go talk to him and I'll go talk to our trainer," Manuel said Tuesday. "They just said he's day-to-day, and they said he's going to have some soreness in his finger. We'll see."

Victorino insists that he'll play in Game 6 with the Phillies facing elimination. [READ]
