The Rangers will name Clint Hurdle their hitting coach, according to reports.

A source told ESPN 103.3 FM's Galloway and Company of the decision on Tuesday, but both the Rangers and Hurdle have declined to comment.

Hurdle is the former manager of the Rockies.
