Francoeur Has Surgery On Thumb

ESPN - Mets outfielder Jeff Francoeur has undergone thumb surgery and is expected to be ready for spring training.

The procedure repaired a torn ligament in his left thumb.

Francoeur was injured while making a diving catch against Philadelphia on July 23. [READ]
