Rain is expected to hit the New York area on Wednesday night, where Game 1 of the World Series will take place.

John Murray, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service, told the Associated Press that there's a 30 percent chance of showers.

Game 6 of the AL Championship Series was pushed back a day to Sunday after rain soaked Yankee Stadium on Saturday night.
