Richard Griffin of the Toronto Star believes that Buck Showalter is the perfect man to manage the Blue Jays.

Showalter, currently an analyst for ESPN, is a good short-term candidate for the job, according to Griffin.

He has a history of helping reinvigorate struggling clubs, although he's usually not around to reap the rewards.
