The Angels have named John Lackey their starter for Game 1 of the ALCS against the Yankees.

The remainder of the team's rotation will be as follows: Joe Saunders, Jered Weaver and Scott Kazmir.

Yankees manager Joe Girardi has hinted about using a three-man rotation, with weather playing a role.

"I'm hearing a lot of rain. We may face [CC] Sabathia seven times," Angels manager Mike Scioscia joked. "We might play just one game a week. I don't know."
