Phillies starter Cole Hamels gave up four runs in five innings against the Rockies on Thursday afternoon.

The two clubs head to Colorado with their first-round series tied at one game apiece.

Hamels left after throwing 82 pitches and rushed out of the dugout when he was pinch-hit for in the fifth inning. After he was replaced, Hamels was notified that his wife was going into labor.

"It could have bothered him, yes," manager Charlie Manuel said after the game.
