Piniella Wants Cubs To Add 'RBI Man'

Cubs manager Lou Piniella wants to see the team add a big bat to their lineup this winter.

"If you ask me, the biggest thing we need here is an RBI bat, to sit in the middle part of that lineup with [Aramis] Ramirez and Derrek Lee," Piniella said Thursday. "That's the biggest need we have here. If you ask me what would be the No. 1 priority, that would be it.

"You can see what a guy like [Matt] Holliday did to the St. Louis lineup -- that type of infusion."

Some free agents options for Chicago this offseason will be Matt Holliday, Bobby Abreu, Jason Bay and Vladimir Guerrero.
