He last pitched on Sept. 12 when he gave up five runs in 3 2/3 innings against Seattle. Since then, Texas has pushed Millwood back to work on a mechanical issue. "I definitively had some time to work on some things," Millwood said Sunday. "It's definitely been tough to sit back and watch here lately. I just want to get back out and pitch." Millwood has to reach 180 innings to guarantee the fifth and final season of his contract with Texas. He added that he expected to pitch "unless they change their mind." |
