Cubs manager Lou Piniella says that Rich Harden will miss his scheduled start on Monday and possibly a second start.
The second start would be Sept. 26 at San Francisco.
Piniella said the team is giving Harden a rest, adding that there is nothing physically wrong with the pitcher.
Harden will be a free agent this winter.
