The Yankees will open and close the 2010 season against the rival Red Sox at Fenway Park.

It's just the fifth time in 50 years that the two clubs have opened and closed the season against each other.

Most openers are scheduled for April 5, 2010, but Major League Baseball could shift the first game of the Yankees-Red Sox series to Sunday night April 4.
