The Angels had interest in reliever Billy Wagner and continue to explore trades and waivers for bullpen help.

The Mets traded Wagner to the Red Sox on Tuesday.

It isn't known where or not the Angels put in a waiver claim on the reliever, according to the Los Angeles Times.
