The Yankees plan to bring Johnny Damon back for about $6-8 million annually and could offer a second year, according to Sports Illustrated.

Damon, who will be a free agent this winter, has been saying all year that he wants to return to New York.

RealGM Note: Damon is currently ranked 38th in season FIC, 'deserving' a salary of $13.25M, which is just slightly greater than his 'actual' salary of $13M.
