Cubs manager Lou Piniella suggested on Monday that he may replace Kevin Gregg as the team's closer. Gregg allowed four runs in the ninth inning of Chicago's 4-1 loss to San Diego on Monday night. "I think we're going to make some changes as far as what we're going to do in late innings," Piniella told the Associated Press. "[The tough losses] all end the same way -- with a home run ball. We'll see what we'll do. I'm going to think about it tonight." |
