Jake Peavy made his first rehab start for the White Sox on Thursday, striking out five in three innings.

Peavy started for the Triple-A Charlotte Knights against the Pawtucket Red Sox in South Carolina.

He struck out the side in the first inning, and is still hoping to join the White Sox at the end of the month.
