White Sox outfielder Jermaine Dye was shocked by the team's addition of Alex Rios.

"It's a shock," said Dye, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The White Sox claimed Rios off waivers from the Blue Jays.

Chicago has a mutual option on Dye's contract for the 2010 season, and the outfielder hopes the addition of Rios doesn't affect his future.
