Peavy could make his debut for the White Sox by the end of the month. "It went well. I think we threw 50, a little bit over 50 pitches maybe. But things went well. It was the first time on the mound with batters in," Peavy told the Associated Press of his throwing session. "I've still got a long way to go, but [it was] a good first step. The biggest thing is pain free and just trying to get my arm strength back, get my legs out under me." He is hoping to make three rehab starts before being activated from the disabled list. |
