The Yankees and Marlins are believed to be making a push for Kansas City's Brian Bannister.

New York is trying to add depth to their starting rotation, but the Yankees are also trying to get the Royals to pay the remaining $650,000 on Bannister's contract.

According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, the Marlins have inquired with the Royals about Bannister recently.
