Dmitri Young tore his left quadriceps muscle last week and is out for at least the remainder of the season.

After a rocky couple of years, The Washington Post points out that it might be tough for Young to make it back to the major leagues.

He tore the muscle while on a rehab assignment with Class AA Harrisburg.

Young played 50 games last season and has been bothered by back problems recently.
