Toronto general manager J.P. Ricciardi expects trade talks involving Roy Halladay to pick up next week. Ricciardi said Wednesday that the Blue Jays "haven't even really exchanged names" with clubs that have shown interest in the pitcher. Toronto is still scouting the minor league talent of those teams. "But we're getting really close to sitting down and telling teams, 'This is what it's going to take,' " Ricciardi said. "I'd say going into Monday, we'll pretty much have our cards on the table." The official non-waiver trade deadline is July 31, but the Blue Jays have set an internal deadline of July 28 for the Halladay talks.
