The Mets ended a four-game skid with their third victory in 12 games by defeating the Dodgers by a final score of 5-4.

David Wright snapped an 0-for-17 slump with his first RBI this month. Daniel Murphy doubled twice and made an incredible play at first base.

"It was a big win for us," manager Jerry Manuel said. "We needed to win a game."
