Diamondbacks ace Brandon Webb will not have surgery on his right shoulder and hopes to return to the mound in September. Webb saw three different specialists and each said that surgery is not necessary. "They all said pretty much the same thing, that they would not recommend surgery right now," Webb told MLB.com. "They told me this is something that should get better." Webb has been on the disabled list since April 13, and will not throw for the next four to six weeks. "The process of seeking multiple opinions has been beneficial," D-backs general manager Josh Byrnes said, according to MLB.com. "We are planning on a conservative course without surgery. We are optimistic that Webby can return to pitching based on this decision."
