Yankees closer Mariano Rivera recorded the 499th save of his career against the Braves on Thursday night.

"Definitely, it's good," Rivera said. "I won't tell you it's not meaningful. It's a blessing."

The Yankees will battle the Mets at Citi Field this weekend, giving him a chance to reach 500 saves in New York.
