Reds first baseman Joey Votto believes that he's ready to return to the big-league club.

Votto has been on the disabled list since May 29 with "stress-related" issues.

He could return to the team as early as Tuesday after a two-game stint with the Class A Dayton Dragons.

"I felt great out there," said Votto, who had three hits, a home run and three RBI.

"It had been such a struggle, getting through games," he added. "Getting through nine was a top priority."
