Indians center fielder Grady Sizemore says that there's no pain in his troublesome elbow, and that he hopes to avoid surgery. Sizemore worked out on Monday for the first time since May 31. "I was cleared to go throw and take swings, so I guess it went well," Sizemore said of an MRI he underwent early on Monday. Sizemore also underwent an MRI soon after being placed on the disabled list close to two weeks ago. "We were pretty confident that the second MRI was going to be good," Sizemore said. "After the first one didn't show any structural damage, we figured after two weeks of treatment the chances of anything major looming in there were going to be small."
