The Indians plan to work out 16-year-old Dominican shortstop Miguel Angel Sano early next week. "We're very interested in signing him," assistant general manager John Mirabelli said. "I think he'll be one of the first guys teams extend offers to. I can tell you he'll be close to the top of our list." The shortstop can be signed by a Major League team beginning on July 2. A number of other teams, including the Yankees and Pirates are reportedly interested in Sano as well.
