Angels outfielder Bobby Abreu doubled in the first inning against the Tigers on Sunday for the 2,000th hit of his career.
The hit came against Detroit rookie Rick Porcello.
Abreu, 35, is a .300 career hitter with .405 on-base and .495 slugging percentages lifetime.
