Giants pitcher Randy Johnson could go for his 301st win on short rest Monday.

Johnson's bruised left shoulder improved while playing long toss on Saturday.

"Better than I thought it'd go," said Johnson. "I was encouraged. We'll see what they have planned and go from there."
