Rogers Centre, formerly known as SkyDome, celebrated its 20th anniversary on Wednesday.

Canadian singer Avril Lavigne threw out the first pitch.

SkyDome opened on June 3rd, 1989 with a huge gala and the Blue Jays played its first game two days later against Brewers.
