Dodgers manager Joe Torre wants to take the blame if the team isn't in first place when Manny Ramirez returns on July 3.

Heading into play on Monday, Los Angeles had an 8 1/2 game lead in the NL West.

"I don't know how many we'll be ahead, but you're right. If anything goes bad, I screwed up, no question," Torre said.
