White Sox general manager Ken Williams said on Monday that he is in no way pursuing Astros pitcher Roy Oswalt.

There were reports on Sunday that Oswalt would use the no-trade clause in his contract to block a deal to the White Sox.

"You want me to respond to something we haven't made an overture towards?" said Williams told the media. "[Oswalt] probably hasn't been asked the question, and someone has written or talked about it as though it were something that was imminent or a reality. And it's not."
