John Smoltz said Sunday that he doesn't think he's far away from making his regular-season debut with the Red Sox.

Smoltz allowed one run over five innings in a start for Class A Greenville.

"It seems like five years ago that I started this road to recovery," he said after his third rehab start in 11 days.
