The Yankees could get catcher Jorge Posada back for their weekend series with the Indians.

"That's possible," manager Joe Girardi said Tuesday night.

Posada participated in a simulated game on Tuesday in Tampa, getting four at-bats and catching for three innings.

He is on the disabled list with a strained right hamstring.
