David Ortiz hit a two-run homer to straightaway center in the fifth inning Wednesday night against Toronto, his first home run in 149 at-bats.

Ortiz was embraced by manager Terry Francona when arriving back in the dugout before stepping out of the dugout and waving his upraised left arm.
