Yankees general manager Brian Cashman hinted that the team may have to stick with their under-performing bullpen for right now.

"This time of the year forces you to stay with what you have," Cashman said. "That doesn't mean I won't be proactive, no doubt."

New York's struggling bullpen, with a 6.04 ERA, could get a boost if Brian Bruney is able to return soon.

"It went real good," Bruney said of a workout in Toronto on Monday. "I went all the way back to 90 feet and let some go. I feel good right now."

He has been on the disabled list since April 25.
