Upon being promoted to Double-A Connecticut, Madison Bumgarner pitched six innings, giving up one earned run, seven hits and striking out two batters.

During his five starts in Single-A San Jose, Bumgarner had a 1.48 ERA with 23 strikeouts in 24.1 innings and just four walks.

Bumgarner is widely regarded as the best low-level pitching prospect in all of baseball.
