Roger Clemens broke his silence on ESPN's "Mike & Mike in the Morning" Tuesday, calling excerpts from a recently-released book "completely false."

"American Icon: The Fall of Roger Clemens and the Rise of Steroids in America's Pastime," a book by four New York Daily News reporters, was released on Tuesday.

"I've seen excerpts of the book, they're completely false," Clemens said.
