The Dodgers claim that they haven't had any discussions with free agent pitcher Pedro Martinez since the offseason, and the Brewers are emerging as a candidate to sign the veteran.
"All of our conversations on Pedro took place in the offseason," said L.A. owner Frank McCourt. "I have not been made aware of any talks beyond those."
