Indians pitching prospect Adam Miller is facing career-threatening surgery on his middle finger. He is expected to undergo surgery on the finger this coming week. According to the Plain-Dealer, the best case scenario for Miller would be a return to baseball action in 6-9 months. "Adam played catch again (last) Monday and experienced pain in the right middle finger," head trainer Lonnie Soloff said. "With an increase in intensity, the symptoms returned. He will visit Dr. (Tom) Graham on Monday in Baltimore to discuss surgical options. At this point, it seems like surgery is indicated."
